Privacy Policy

Vreeko (“we,” “us”) is a faith-based inspiration social platform. People from every denomination are welcome, and so are people who are not believers. We ask everyone to treat one another with respect. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. It is not legal advice.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, username, password (stored as a hash), and date of birth. A new account stays unconfirmed until you open the email link. Unconfirmed signups are deleted after 24 hours.
• Profile details you choose to add: bio, photo, location, faith tradition, sex (male, female, or prefer not to say), timezone.
• Circle invitations: the address you invite, when the invitation was sent, and whether the email was opened. Invitation emails include a small image that records the first time the message is opened, and the time, so the circle manager can see that status.
• Invitations you send from Settings: the name and email you enter, whether the message was sent, and each time the email image loads, with the time. You can add an optional note. The person can unsubscribe so you cannot invite that address again. We do not store a city from those opens, because mail apps usually load the image from their own servers.
• Content you post: text, photos, videos, comments, reactions, and optional place labels.
• Technical data: IP address, approximate location used to guess timezone, browser timezone, and basic device/session data needed to keep you signed in.
• Safety signals: reports you file, and automated scan results on uploads.

How we use it

• To run your account, feed, friends, groups, circles, and messages on the site.
• To keep people under 13 off the platform, and to treat under-18 accounts with tighter defaults.
• To enforce community standards: we scan text, file names, and images for sexual content, nudity, graphic violence, depictions of death, threats, and bullying.
• To show times in your timezone and, if you opt in, a city/region on a post.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not run third-party advertising on your feed. We do not let you change the birth date you registered.

Sharing

Other members see what you choose to share based on your privacy settings. We may share information if required by law, to prevent harm, or with service providers who host email, storage, or safety scanning, only as needed to operate Vreeko.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, tighten who sees your posts, hide a comment just for yourself, and delete your own posts and comments. To close an account, contact us at hello@vreeko.com.

Children

Vreeko is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn an account belongs to a child under 13, we will close it.

Retention

We keep account and content data while your account is open, and as needed for safety, backups, and legal obligations. Deleted posts are removed from the live feed.
